Michigan had plenty of chances, but couldn't get a clutch hit. The Wolverines also stuck out in bunches. The 'Cats pitching duo of Preston Guillmet and Jason Stoffel combined for 12 strikeouts. Kevin Cislo had three hits for Michigan. Bobby Coyle and Hunter Pace both had two hits for UA.
