The Nittany Lions began Sunday as they closed Saturday -- with another triumph over #26 Michigan. PSU beat up the Wolverines, 9-3. Penn State knocked out sixteen hits over seven innings. Seven different Lions had two hits a piece. CF Garrett Field had four RBI. Mike Deese drove in two more. The win went to Paul Hawkins (3-0) and the save went to Drew O'Neil (8).
Coach Wine's squad looks for the series win in Ann Arbor in the second game of today's doubleheader, while Rich Maloney's side home to salvage a split for the second straight weekend.
