NU Loses 4-1, PSU Rained Out

Kansas State beat Northwestern Sunday afternoon, 4-1. K-State's Eric Durante and Brandon Farr each had two RBI. The Big XII Wildcats got eight innings from starter, and winner, Adam Cowart. For a KSU perspective on the contest, click here.

NU's Antonio Mule drove in the Big Ten Wildcats lone tally, although Jake Owens, Jon Mikrut and Pat McMahon each collected two hits a piece. Andrew Smith went four innings, taking the loss. The Northwestern version of today's game can be found here.

Penn State and Charlotte got rained out today. The Nittany Lions will face UNC-Wilmington next Friday.
