Michigan Baseball Adds Quarterback

Clayton Richard, Michigan's back-up quarterback, has joined the baseball team. An all-state baseball player, Richard is a hard throwing lefty. Here is The Detroit News story of Richard's addition to the Wolverines baseball team.

They say he has a hard fastball (90s). Considering he has no shot at the starting QB job for a while, I think this is a good move for Richard. I heard one analyst say that this could put Michigan into a higher tier in college Baseball. I think even though he hasn't played in two years he should be fine. Two years isn't that long, plus its not like he's been sitting around, he's in shape, use to working hard, and being a QB, he should still have his arm strength.
