Three On Wallace Award List

The 2008 Brooks Wallace Award Watchlist has been trimmed down to 100 players. Three of the nominees are from the Big Ten Conference. Indiana's Josh Phegley and Michigan's Nate Recknagel and Zach Putnam remain in the running to claim one of the many national player of the year honors.

CSTV Previews The Big Ten

Miller Grabs BA Honor

North Carolina junior Andrew Miller was named Baseball America's Player of the Year today. Miller, the sixth overall pick in the amatuer draft, went 13-2 for UNC and posted a 2.11 ERA.

Miller also heads BA's All-America team for 2006. No players from the Big Ten were selected to any of the three star squads.
